Living it up in St. George’s Park, Guelph.

The steep rising ground north of downtown hindered development of this area until the 1850s. The area was known early on as "Horsman's Hill" after John Horsman, a local business owner, who built a stately home at the crest of Grange Street. The St. George's Park neighbourhood boasts some of the city's finest estate homes such as Wyoming, Gilnockie, Tyrcathlen and Maplebank.
